This end-of-year exhibition celebrates radical alternative visions of collective futures and possibilities of sustainable change. The work presents a snapshot of the adventures through postgraduate study in Sustainable Design completed by this group of gifted design researchers.

 

Sustainable Design is diverse, contested and continually shifting discipline, making it an exciting place to study, work and research. When discussing sustainability challenges, students of the MA Sustainable Design course at the University of Brighton engage with ongoing debates about the most pressing issues, including equality, ecological concerns, consumption and good health. 

 

Collectively, we bring a wide range of life, educational and professional experience working with design and change-making agendas worldwide. Through our studies, we bring together theories, practices, ideas and experiences, critiquing how design can understand, define and attend to complex issues of sustainability.
